Hristo Shindov is a native of Plovdiv, Bulgaria - the oldest town in Europe. A strong passion for music and visual arts moved him from there to the United States in the early 2000’s to pursue an education and career in the field. Graduating from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2006 he established himself in Los Angeles and fully immersed himself in the music scene. Work for major music acts started to emerge and career in commercial and industrial photography followed. His mentor called him a “heavy metal photographer” - not a surprise when the subjects in front of his camera range anywhere between Iron Maiden, major automobile brands, industrial tool machinery and steel production plants.
